ATTO 584H is a fluorescent marker that belongs to the class of rhodamines. As a hydrophilic alternative to ATTO Rho101, the dye shows very good water solubility and a significantly reduced tendency to non-specific binding. ATTO 584H has a strong absorption, very high fluorescence quantum yield and a high thermal and photochemical stability. The dye is therefore perfectly suited for use in single molecule detection and high-resolution microscopy (SIM, STED, etc.). ATTO 584H is an anionic dye. After coupling to a substrate, it carries a single negative charge. Efficient excitation of fluorescence occurs in the 570 - 600 nm range.
